The ICLEI World Secretariat is seeking a consultant to help develop a knowledge product on sustainable public procurement for cilmate and energy projects. This work falls under the 100% Renewables Cities and Regions Roadmap project, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) through the International Climate Initiative.

One of the key objectives of the 100% RE project is to support LRGs in navigating the development of bankable renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. Sustainable public procurement (SPP) and contracting for the implementation of these projects, has emerged as a key component of this effort. The associated knowledge product will serve as a repository explaining various SPP practices within the broader context of sustainable energy transition.
